I've spent over a decade building web apps, APIs, and internal tools that help businesses run better — and I've founded a handful of startups along the way.
What sets me apart is my experience as a founder. I've been in your shoes — dealing with limited budgets, tight timelines, and the pressure to validate ideas quickly. I understand the full business picture: not just how to write code, but why certain technical decisions matter for your model, customer acquisition, and long-term growth.
I specialise in building MVPs that are both technically sound and strategically focused. I know how to prioritise the features that matter, avoid over-engineering, and create solutions that evolve from prototype to production without costly rewrites.
My approach is straightforward: understand the business problem first, then design and build the right solution. I believe in clean code, thoughtful UX, and systems that stay maintainable long after I've moved on.
I work as a technical partner, not just a contractor. That means I'm invested in your success, I communicate clearly about trade-offs, and I build things that scale with your business.
Beyond code
When I'm not building software, you'll find me on my motorcycle exploring twisty mountain roads or on the track, practicing meditation and contemplation, or spending quality time with Franco (my 5-year-old pup) and Emma, my partner and true other half.
I speak both Farsi and English, and have called many places home: Tokyo, London, Dunedin, Tehran, Sydney, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast. I love the sun and take any chance I get to dip in the ocean and lakes.

Full-time role in Sydney developing and maintaining production web applications. Built scalable React.js applications, integrated APIs, and collaborated on system architecture decisions. Contributed to improving code quality and development workflows.

Co-founded and served as CTO of Peptree, an online wedding directory platform. Built the technical infrastructure including planning tools, supplier management dashboard, and property listings system. Simplified the wedding planning process by creating a centralized platform for couples to manage their entire wedding planning workflow.
